The battery backup system at Krishi Audgyogik Vidyalay, Village Chambdi Tal. Purandar Dist. Pune was non operational and the school authorities asked for a solution to revive we decided to put up a photovoltaic system (PV) using charge controller and a pure sign wave inverter providing 60min of backup. During normal sunlight the system will run on solar energy and battery will be a backup in case of dark hours. When the school is closed down during summer period the generated energy of the day will be used for compound street light (LED based)
